County Commissioners Deny Cancellation Application for lots in Summit Estates at Fischer
After significant public outcry against the cancellation, Comal County Commissioners voted unanimously to deny cancellation of the lots that had been the subject of controversy for many weeks. Texas Water Company (TWC) would like to significantly expand its water treatment facility at the entrance to this subdivision -- to a capacity many times over what that subdivision can use -- and would likely have benefitted from the cancellation of the lots to facilitate that expansion. (See June 2 and June 3 updates.)
Fischer Neighbors teamed up with Summit Fischer's HOA to oppose the cancellation. We are extremely grateful for the Commissioners' vote with the community.

ALERT: Give a citizen's comment (3 minutes) at the June 4 Commissioners Court, 8:30am, 100 Main Plaza, New Braunfels — OR write to all commissioners well before the June 11 Public Hearing. And plan on attending the Public Hearing itself if you can at the June 11 Commissioners Court.

Comment to TCEQ — Canyon Ranch Wastewater Permit Renewal
Canyon Ranch (on FM 306 in Spring Branch) wastewater permit is up for renewal (Permit # WQ0015866001). While renewal is likely, it's important to get on the record opposing another 300,000 gal/day of treated effluent into Canyon Lake via Devil's Hollow.
